We believe that there is only one way to source the best products in terms of innovative design, outstanding quality and competitive prices, and that’s to be on site and in the heart of the manufacturing areas of India.

We make regular buying trips across the country and enjoy an extensive dialogue with manufacturers and government appointed export departments, to ensure that we always obtain the very best for our clients.

We strongly believe in supporting local communities and we therefore make every effort to buy directly from smaller co-operatives. This type of support ensures that all profits are shared equally by the skilled workers and their families, thereby cutting out unnecessary, and expensive, additional links in the supply chain.

We are passionate about the products we sell and we want our customers to feel the same way. Our clients often express their delight, at the skill and creativity that enables items to be hand made in remote areas of India and then transported thousands of miles to romantically grace their homes.

One of the enormous benefits of a truly skilled labour force is that almost anything is possible! Indian craftsmen are not reliant on huge mechanical production lines and expensive machinery which cannot easily be recalibrated. One of the extraordinary benefits of this flexibility is that products can be modified to fit in with our modern homes, individual colour schemes and taste – what a truly unique shopping experience!

The whole idea of Cinnamon is to provide exclusive handmade items. We have concentrated on modern and contemporary designs rather than the more formal and traditional, with the accent on quality of design and exhilarating colours.
